This is a variant of regular Potato Choka / Potato Mash.

Ingredients:
- Fresh or frozen Green peas 2 cups
- Potatoes 3 medium
- Fresh mint leaves 1/2 medium bunch
- Salt to taste
- Red Chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon
- Black Pepper powder - a pinch
- Crushed black peppercorns 1 teaspoon
- Red chilli flakes 1/2 teaspoon
- Butter 1 tablespoon
- Coriander Leaves- Chopped for garnishing
Method:
- Boil the potatoes in a pressure cooker - (time can vary based on the quality of Potato) , and peel them off once boiling done. Crush the potatoes and leave aside.
- Take out a deep non-stick pan. Add green peas, torn mint leaves, sufficient water and start heating till it comes to boil.
- Cover and cook for another 2-3 minutes , check if the peas have become soft.
- Strain the peas and mint into a bowl and put the mashed potato and mix them.
- Place the potato peas mixture in a blender jar. Add salt, 1 teaspoon red chilly powder, a pinch of black pepper powder , crushed peppercorns and red chilli flakes. Blend into a smooth mixture.
- Heat butter in a non-stick pan. Add the mixture and cook for 2 minutes, stirring continuously.
- Garnish with coriander leaves on top and serve as an accompaniment / side dish.
