Fruit Raita Recipe | Yummy yogurt fruit dip


This is a very healthy and yummy dip recipe wherein curd is mixed with varieties of fruits. It is a open canvas to put in varieties of fruits of your choice.

Ingredients


  • Yogurt 2 cups(whisked)
  • 1/2 cup peeled and finely chopped Pear
  • 1/2 cup peeled and finely chopped Apple
  • 1/2 cup green grapes
  • 1/2 cup black grapes
  • 1/2 cup pomegranate seeds
  • 1 Banana sliced into pieces
  • 1 tsp Chat Masala  
  • 1 tsp Black Salt
  • 1 tbsp Sugar




Method:


  1. In a big glass bowl whisk the curd properly.
  2. Add sugar,banana slices,chopped pear and apple , green and black grapes, black salt and chat masala.Mix well.
  3. Now add pomegranate seeds and mix.
  4. Top again with some banana slices,grapes and pomegrate seeds, and chat masala. It will result into an awesome garnishing. Enjoy this yummy dip. It can also be kept refrigerated.


Note/Tips:

  1. Chat Masala is a spice made from combination of cumin,black pepper, dried mango powder,black salt,salt and asafoetida. 
  2. Keep few slices of banana, few grapes, and some pomegranate reserve for garnishing at last. If you put everything once. It will get mixed with curd and garnishing won't be that great.
  3. You can try with additional/other varieties of fruits like pine-apple, peach. Even some dry fruits can also be piched in.
