Cranberry Syrup

This cranberry syrup recipe can be used as an accompanient to create various Cranberry Cocktails.

Ingredients:

2 large cups or 300gms fresh or frozen cranberries
1 cup sugar
1 cup water

Method:


  1. In a saucepan put cranberries, sugar and water
  2. Simmer over medium flame.
  3. Cook approximately for 10 minutes over low-medium heat or till cranberries are tender.
  4. Allow it to cool pass through a fine mess colander or sieve. Discard the cranberries.


Tip:
Cranberries will get burst if cooked for longer time, so cook just until they become tender
