Chocolate Pound Cake

Ingredients:


  • 2 sticks margarine 
  • 2 cups sugar 
  • 3 cup refined flour 
  • 1/2 tsp. salt 
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda 
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup milk 
  • 6 eggs 
  • 2&1/2 tsp. vanilla 

Method:


  1. Cream margarine and sugar. 
  2. Sift flour , salt , baking soda , cocoa powder and add alternately with milk. 
  3. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well. 
  4. Add vanilla. 
  5. Bake in a well greased and floured loaf pan for 75 minutes at 325 degrees. 
  6. Garnish the top layer with chocolate spread.
