Coconut Jaggery Laddu

This is a variant of traditional Coconut Burfi.
This has a unique combination of coconut and Jaggery which gives different aroma.

Ingredients:
Grated coconut 3 cups
Jaggery 150 gm
Ghee 4 Tablespoon
Milk 1/4 cup

Method:
  • Use a thick-bottomed pan and heat Ghee in it
  • Add grated coconut and sauté on low medium flame for 3-4 minutes.
  • Add milk and mix well. Saute for another minute.
  • Crush the Jaggery and add it to the Coconut- Milk mixture
  • Jaggery will start melting softly and get mixed with coconut properly
  • Switch off the flame once the mixture becomes uniform
  • Apply little ghee in you hands and start shaping them to Laddus
  • Store in air-tight container.
