Coconut Barfi | Nariyal Laddu | How to make Nariyal Laddu?

Enriched with the flavour of fresh coconut, coconut barfi is made for festive occasions as well as used as snacks.

Ingredients:
Grated coconut 3 cups
Sugar 2 cups
Milk 3/4 cup (Try condensed milk)
Cardamom 5-6 - Powdered


Method:
  • Use a thick-bottomed pan and mix coconut, sugar and milk.
  • Heat the mixture on low flame till all the ingredients blend well and the mixture starts turning thick. Add the Cardamom powder.
  • Spread the mixture on a greased tray.
  • If you want it to shape in Laddu (sphere) then you can start rolling mixtures when it  is hot.
  • If you want it in burfi shape then allow it to cool before cutting into desired shape .
  • Store in air-tight container.

Tip:
Adding saffron brings on a different flavor and rich color. Use condensed milk for a richer version.
