Mustard Sauce Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 kg black mustard seeds
  • 1/4 kg yellow mustard seeds
  • 10 whole dry red chillies
  • 10 garlic pods
  • 5 Teaspoon vinegar
  • 1 Tablespoon sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon butter
  • salt as per taste


Method:


  1. Sift mustard seeds carefully to remove any stone particles if present.
  2. Take all the mustard seeds, butter, Red chilli, vinegar and grind them to a smooth thick paste. 
  3. Add little water if necessary, make sure mixture remains thick like sauce and not free flowing.
  4. Add sugar and salt and mix well.
  5. Store the sauce in a dry bottle and use accordingly.
