Sprouted Moong Salad Recipe


This recipe constitutes to one of the most healthy snacks or breakfast. Sprouted green moong is a very healthy food and it leaves a open canvas to add various ingredients to it.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Sprouted Moong 
  • 1 medium size Onion 
  • 1 medium size Tomato 
  • salt to taste . (black salt can also be used)
  • Red chili powder to taste 
  • 1 or 2 tsp. lemon juice .(based on degree of tangyness admired)
  • 1/4th tsp. roasted cumin (Jeera) powder 
  • Finely chopped coriander leaves 

Method:

  1. Take the sprouted moong and steam them on a steamer.
  2. Wash and drain sprouts. 
  3. Chop Onions and tomatoes into small pieces.
  4. Add Onion, tomato and other ingredients(except coriander leaves) into sprouted moong. 
  5. Mix everything well. 
  6. Garnish with coriander leaves. 

Note: 

Other variants to this recipe can be made by replacing or mixing with sprouted bengal grams and sprouted Soyabean grams
