Coriander Leaves Chutney | Dhaniya Patta Chutney | Cilantro Leaves Chutney


In India, Chutneys form one of the most widely used accompanients which suits with any food type and gives a variety when it comes to taste.

Dhaniya Patta Chutney or Cilantro Chutney or Coriander chutney is one of such widely used chutney which suits with most of the snacks.

Ingredients:

  • 1 Fresh bunch green Coriander Leaves (1 ounce/25 grams)
  • 3-4 garlic pods
  • 1/2 inch ginger chopped
  • 1 Green chilly chopped
  • Lemon juice 1 tablespoon
  • Plain salt as per paste 
  • Black salt as per taste

Method:

  1. Wash the coriander leaves and remove the roots from bunch.
  2. Divide the coriander bunch into half
  3. In a blender put coriander leaves, green chilly , garlic, ginger , and salt
  4. Put some water and blend till a smooth texture is formed


  5. Take out the chutney in a bowl, add lemon juice and stir well

  6. It can be used almost with any snacks like samosa, pakora , tikkies , and chat items
  7. We can store chutney in refrigerator for 2-3 days.
