BREAD SOUFFLÉ

Ingredients:


  • 4 Slices wholewheat bread, 
  • 2 cups of milk, 
  • 2 tbsp rosewater, 
  • Sugar to taste, 
  • 4 eggs. 

Method:


  1. Soak the bread in the milk until perfectly soft; 
  2. Add sugar and the rose water; 
  3. Beat the mixture up with the yolks of the eggs; 
  4. Beat the whites of the eggs to a stiff froth mix them lightly with the rest; 
  5. Pour the whole into a well-buttered pie-dish and bake the Soufflé for 1/2 an hour in a brisk oven; Serve immediately.
