Ingredients
- 1 cup Rice
- 5-6 peeled and chopped tomatoes
- 2 medium Onions chopped
- 2 Green Chillies chopped
- 1/2 inch Ginger crushed
- 2-3 cloves Garlic crushed
- 2-3 cloves
- some black pepper
- 1/2 inch cinnamon
- 2 cardamom
- bay leaves
- 2 tbsp oil
Method:
- Heat oil in a pan. Add dry spices (cloves, black pepper, cinnamon, cardamom, bay leaves)
- Add onions ,green chillies, ginger, garlic, and salt. Fry for 5 - 10 minutes.
- Add tomatoes, sauté for a while.
- Add washed and drained rice, fry for 5-6 minutes over low medium heat.
- Add more water and cook until rice is done.
