Ingredients:
- 12 Lemons 6
- Salt as per taste
- 6 tsp Chilli powder.
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp Hing / Asafoetida.
- 1 tsp Methi or fenugreek seeds.
- 3/4 cup or 10 tbsp Oil.
Method:
- Cut lemons into small pieces and remove the seeds.
- Add salt. Mix and keep lemons for about 12 hours.
- Add chilli powder, turmeric, and methi.
- Heat oil. Add mustard seeds and asafoetida to splutter.
- Pour this mixture over the lemons and mix thoroughly.
- Store in air-tight containers. Use in meals.
