Lemon Pickle Recipe


Ingredients:


  • 12 Lemons 6 
  • Salt as per taste 
  • 6 tsp Chilli powder. 
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Hing / Asafoetida. 
  • 1 tsp Methi or fenugreek seeds. 
  • 3/4 cup  or 10 tbsp Oil. 

Method:


  1. Cut lemons into small pieces and remove the seeds. 
  2. Add salt. Mix and keep lemons for about 12 hours. 
  3. Add chilli powder, turmeric, and methi. 
  4. Heat oil. Add mustard seeds and asafoetida to splutter. 
  5. Pour this mixture over the lemons and mix thoroughly. 
  6. Store in air-tight containers. Use in meals.
