White Sauce for Pasta | Italian Pasta Sauce | How to prepare white sauce for pasta?

This white sauce is a rich and delicious ingredient to use in Pasta ,Macroni and even fruit Salads. 

Ingredients:


  • 3 tbsp Butter
  • 3 tbsp all-purpose flour / maida
  • 1 cup milk (boiled and cooled)
  • 1 and 1/2 cup boiling water
  • Italian seasonings

Method


  1. In a pan/ kadhai, melt butter over medium-low heat.
  2. Stir in the flour. Cook and Saute until thickened and lightly browned for about 4-5 minutes.
  3. On medium heat , add water and whisk until smooth.
  4. Stir in the milk and cook until thickened. Keep stirring to avoid lumps.It might take around 2 minutes.
  5. Season with Italian seasonings.
