This white sauce is a rich and delicious ingredient to use in Pasta ,Macroni and even fruit Salads.
Ingredients:
- 3 tbsp Butter
- 3 tbsp all-purpose flour / maida
- 1 cup milk (boiled and cooled)
- 1 and 1/2 cup boiling water
- Italian seasonings
Method
- In a pan/ kadhai, melt butter over medium-low heat.
- Stir in the flour. Cook and Saute until thickened and lightly browned for about 4-5 minutes.
- On medium heat , add water and whisk until smooth.
- Stir in the milk and cook until thickened. Keep stirring to avoid lumps.It might take around 2 minutes.
- Season with Italian seasonings.
