Sabudana Khichdi | Sabudana Poha | Sago Peanuts Fry

Ingredients:


  • 2 cups Sabudana (Sago)
  • 2 medium onions chopped finely
  • 1/2 cup peanuts
  • 1/2 cup green peas
  • some ginger and garlic chopped
  • 10 Curry leaves
  • some cumin seeds
  • 4 Tbsp. oil
  • salt as per taste
  • 1/2 lemon
  • 1 green chilly finely chopped




Method:


  1. Wash sabudana in water and keep it aside wet for 20 minutes.(Don't soak in water)
  2. Dry roast peanuts


  3. Take the roasted peanuts and blend coarsely.

  4. Heat oil in a pan and put cumin seeds, green chilly and curry leaves.Allow seeds to splutter.

  5. Add chopped garlic and crushed ginger. Saute well for a minute on medium flame.
  6. Now add sabudana and powdered peanuts and mix well. 

  7. Saute for few minutes and keep everything aside in a plate.
  8. Heat some oil in the pan and add onions. Stir for 1 minute.
  9. Add Peanuts and salt. Fry till everything turns golden brown.



  10. Now pour back the contents of the plate(sabudana + peanuts mix) back to the pan and stir fry for 2 minutes.


  11. Take out lemon juice from half lemon and add to the pan and mix.
  12. Serve and enjoy.
