CAULIFLOWER PIE.

Ingredients:


  • 1 small cauliflower 
  • 3/4 lb. of potatoes
  • 1/2 lb. of fine wheatmeal, 
  • 3 eggs, 
  • 3/4 pint of milk, 
  • 1 oz. of butter, 
  • 1 tsp nutmeg,
  • 1 tsp pepper 
  • 1 tsp salt. 

Method:


  1. Cook Cauliflower and Potaoes in boiling water till tender.
  2. Cut cauliflower into pieces and Potatoes into slices.
  3. Place both in a pie-dish with the butter and seasoning(nutmeg,pepper & salt) 
  4. Beat the eggs and add wheatmeal and milk. Mix well to form a uniform batter.
  5. Pour the batter over the vegetables, mix well, 
  6. Bake for  90 Minutes.
