Grilled Peanut Butter and Bananas

Ingredients:


  • Peanut butter 
  • 4 English muffins, sliced in half or 8 thick sliced good quality bread
  • 2 medium bananas 
  • Butter or margarine, softened 

Method:


  1. Spread peanut butter over one side of 4 slices bread; 
  2. Slice bananas and arrange on top. Top with remaining breads. 
  3. Spread top slices with butter or margarine. 
  4. Place sandwiches, margarine sides down, in skillet. Spread top slices with margarine. 
  5. Cook uncovered over medium heat until bottoms are golden brown, about 4 minutes; 
  6. Turn and cook until bottoms are golden brown and peanut butter is melted, 2 to 3 minutes probably.
