MUSHROOM CUTLETS


Ingredients:


  • 1/2 cup mushrooms cut into halfs
  • 1/2 cup boiled-mashed potatoes
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 small onion chopped 
  • 2 eggs 
  • 4 tbsp. of butter
  • a little milk
  • some finely chopped parsley
  • 1/2 tsp herbs

Method:


  1. Heat 1 tbsp. butter in a pan and fry together mushroom and onions.
  2. Add mashed potatoes, and parsley to the pan and mix well together.
  3. Now add the breadcrumbs, 1 egg well beaten, add also pepper and salt to taste; if necessary add a little milk to mix everything well into a thick paste; 
  4. Shape the mixture into cutlets, 
  5. Dip them in the other egg well beaten, 
  6. Fry them in the rest of the butter. Serve with tomato sauce.
